01 / THE MATERIALBEYOND STANDARD MDF

Wood fibre.
New rules.

Infinite Tricoya® starts with wood fibres and transforms them through a process called acetylation. The fibres become much less sensitive to changes in moisture.

That means less swelling, greater dimensional stability and lasting performance in demanding exterior conditions. It is still a workable fibreboard: cut, shape, drill, sand and finish it with appropriate tools and coating systems.

The acetylation principle / simply explained

Start with wood fibres

Wood fibres are the starting material.

Wood chips

Wood is prepared into smaller pieces.

Acetylated fibres

Acetylation helps the fibres respond less to moisture.

NAF resin system

The fibres are bonded with a no-added-formaldehyde resin system.
02 / EXTERIOR PERFORMANCEDESIGNED FOR EXPOSURE

Made to be challenged.

Rain, changing humidity, hot days and cold nights place constant stress on exterior materials. Infinite Tricoya® is made to keep dimensional movement low and resist biological decay in its approved uses.

Its stability can also help suitable finishes and fitted joints perform better over time when the right installation and coating system is used.

3 + 4USE CLASS / EN 335

For approved exterior exposure and intended applications.

LOWDIMENSIONAL MOVEMENT

Reduced swelling and shrinkage against conventional MDF.

03 / TRANSPARENCYRESPONSIBLE MATERIAL CHOICE

A stronger material story.

Better design starts with better information. Finsa publishes product-level technical and environmental evidence for Infinite Tricoya®. The references below are deliberately limited to claims supported by Finsa or the listed EPD.
